MichaelFotheringham
Partner
mfotheringham@jamesmilne.co.uk
Michael Fotheringham graduated from the University of Aberdeen with an honours degree in agriculture and went on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant in 2001.
After serving with one of accountancy’s ‘big four’, he joined the firm in 2008 and was made a partner the following year.
Raised on a farm near Strichen, Michael comes from a family steeped in the traditions of agriculture and has continued that with his own Aberdeenshire farm.
Much of Michael’s down time is spent on or near a rugby pitch, having played competitively for over 25 years, most recently with Aberdeenshire RFC and now coaching in the Junior section at Ellon Rugby Club, where both his sons are players. When not herding either cattle or kids on the grass, Michael will probably be found somewhere on the Buchan roads on his bike.
GrahamBridgeford
gbridgeford@jamesmilne.co.uk
Graham Bridgeford has been with James Milne for more than 25 years, becoming a partner in 1994 and managing partner in 2009.
A University of Aberdeen graduate, Graham joined the firm in 1989 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant three years later. Born and raised in Peterhead, Graham divides his time between the Inverurie and Aberdeen offices.
Accountancy is becoming something of a Bridgeford tradition, with Graham’s father providing the inspiration for his career choice.
When not at work, Graham’s focus is on numbers of a different kind – 4-4-2 or 4-5-1? As a devoted football follower, he has enjoyed the highs and lows of life as a Dons fan having been an Aberdeen season ticket holder for more than 20 years.

Partnerships fall under his remit with James Milne in addition to sole traders and a wide client base in the farming community.
