Secretary – Inverurie

Due to impending retirement, we are looking to recruit a secretary (with reception duties) to work in our busy Inverurie office.

The main task of this role is to deal with all the secretarial and administration work of the office, but also manage the reception area and deal with telephone calls into the office/firm.

This is a part-time role. Hours of work are flexible and to be arranged but are expected to be around 20 to 25 hours per week.

Main duties and responsibilities are as follows:

• Preparation and/or finalisation of outgoing correspondence
• Preparing and franking outgoing mail
• Production of, and binding documents / accounts
• Manage reception desk, greet clients/visitors
• Answer telephone and direct calls or take messages when necessary
• Responsibility for maintaining meeting rooms for client/other meetings, prepare tea/coffee etc.
• Any other duties which may be reasonably required.

The successful candidate will have excellent keyboard/Word skills to produce work to the highest standard. Proficiency in the use of Excel would also be beneficial.
