Welcome to the website of James Milne & Co., a long-established and leading independent Chartered Accountancy firm in the North East of Scotland. The firm was formed by James Milne in 1888 and has operated from the same city centre office at 5 Bon Accord Square since 1938. In early 2008, following the acquisition of Inverurie based accountancy firm Cassie & Co., James Milne & Co. now also operate from High Street, Inverurie.

Over the years, James Milne & Co.’s philosophy has been to provide a personal service to all clients, whether large corporate entities or individuals for whom a basic tax return is prepared.

Unlike many other firms, James Milne & Co. has always believed that the partners should be the main point of contact for our clients. We therefore strive at all times to be available to provide personal assistance and guidance for any business and taxation issue, regardless of size.

As the firm is a member of and regulated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS), clients can be confident of receiving a service backed by the highest professional standards. ICAS, the world’s oldest and most respected accountancy body, was established by Royal Charter in 1854. The firm is also authorised to train CA students.
