The firm is registered to carry out audit work by ICAS. However, with the recent increase in the turnover limit to £5.6 million, most companies are now exempt from audit.

In spite of this, there are a number of clients who still require our audit services. In addition to larger companies we currently provide audit services to local charities, clubs and associations, trusts, financial service companies, ABTA registered businesses and pension schemes.

Although many companies no longer require their accounts to be formally audited, these companies are still required to produce accounts that give a “true and fair” view and which comply with Companies Act legislation. Our vast experience in the preparation of accounts to regulatory standards means that you can rest easy in the knowledge that James Milne & Co. will ensure that all requirements are fully met.
